DOR Online Artist Showcase: Feb 17th!

To commemorate this year's Day of Remembrance (which marks the signing of EO 9066 authorizing the WWII-era incarceration of Japanese Americans), YMP is hosting an online artists showcase this Friday, Feb 17th, 2023 at 5pm PT (please register here). 

Three visionary artists — traci kato-kiriyama, TT Takemoto, and Kellee Matsushita-Tseng — will share how their practices as writers, performers, filmmakers, farmers, and organizers pay homage to the past and envision radical futures. We'll talk about community healing, solidarity, land stewardship, risk, seeds, and the role of creativity in transforming collective trauma.
